Then they go inside for a cup of coffee, but they have to drink instant coffee
since they also recently destroyed their coffee makers. Then they sit down at the computer and order new shoes from Amazon.com.

They’ll take down NIKE just like they took down YETI...oh they are doing better than ever you say?
Well they certainly showed Keurig a thing or two when...ah they bought dr. pepper and snapple and are killing it...
ah.
Yeah, NIKE will be just fine.

On one of my fantasy teams , I changed my logo to a pic of Kaep laughing .
That is all.

Who can keep track of all these rediculous boycotts?
![]() 09/05/2018 at 22:59 |

See? I told you they wear nikes. Or worse, they went out and bought those nikes just to burn them. On the plus side, more jobs for Chinese kids.

What i find interesting are how many are burning them in their grills. Not the sharpest tools in the shed.
MMMM cancer.

YETI? I don’t know that story.

The ad is brilliant. It’s absolutely a slap in 45's face. And 45 is taking the bait.

I can’t, so I don’t don’t

The thing is, he didn’t want to talk shit at first, because Nike pays his enterprises a lot of rent.
![]() 09/05/2018 at 23:52 |

Now they have to buy new shoes AND a new grill.

The Yeti story is even better because it generally involved firearms.

These idiots should obviously be boycotting Chick-Fil-A, In-n-Out, TJ Maxx, Budweiser, Miller, Coors or any of the 250+ brands the Democratic Coalition Against Trump has identified for us.
This childish bullshit is on both sides of the aisle.

The principal of the thing is that America has great principles. The key part is how entertaining it is for the rest of the world when it exercises those principles in inexplicable fashion.

Could of donated them to a veteran, homeless person, what do i know? This is America!

It’s all
asshattery.
For my part, I have plantar faciitis and Nike doesn’t make good shoes for bad feet.

America has great principles
Do we? I like to
think
hope
that we do.

Wow; in all of this, that’s the best comment I’ve read anywhere. Very w

Or I buy everything. See my note?

So they haven’t gone out of business yet? I don’t think there’s anything out there that remotely compares to a YETI cooler.
![]() 09/06/2018 at 08:21 |

There are, lots of off-brand Yetis. RTIC is probably the biggest, and half the price.

Hey Stranger. Do you think the NRA thing has hurt Yeti sales appreciably?
![]() 09/06/2018 at 08:39 |

I don’t know, probably not. Yeti somewhat a pologized/backtracked/whatever, and not enough people care. I do think Nike is likely to see a decline though, at least in the short term until people forget about it .
![]() 09/06/2018 at 08:58 |

I am interested to see what happens with Nike. They have made a bold play. WAY bolder than YETI, IMHO.

Sure. You don’t think your country got where it is on a wing and a prayer do you? The problem now is that your country is cross eyed and constipated...

Nike makes some stylish shoes, but they don't make good shoes. I also have plantar fasciitis and my job requires I stay in shape. Nike running shoes make everything hurt. For me, it's Asics all the way!

My
country? Which country is
your
country? I showed a bias in that I assumed you were of the United States. But you are giving USA props here and, all joking aside, I thank you for that. I agree with you that relative to most other nations, USA has some fairly high ideals. The problem is human nature and humans seem to always mess everything up.

I just bought some Carolina Shoe work boots.
This one is USA made
.

Australia. We have the same sort of human natures here too.

I bet Australia doesn’t have its own Donald Trump though. That guy is a major embarrassment.

We’ve had six prime ministers in the last ten years. While we don’t have politicians quite like Trump...we have many of his ilk. America does not have a monopoly on Populism and the people it attracts.
![]() 09/06/2018 at 22:33 |

If I bought things based purely on political ideals I wouldn’t have much music to listen to or games to play among other things. Political beliefs are at best a private matter and not a selling feature. Burning something you own because some dude is now the mascot is just wasting money.

Perhaps, but it sure feels like we've got the market cornered these days...
